How it works
Flat on a dark cloth, in daylight. The back often carries the mint mark.
Country, year, mint mark, series and a grade estimate — with anything unreadable flagged, not guessed. Key dates and famous errors (like the 1955 doubled die) get a clear "this one could be valuable" flag and a list of what to check.
Face value, the silver melt value for silver coins at the current silver price, and one tap to eBay sold listings and the PCGS and NGC price guides for that exact coin.
Honest by design
- No guessed prices. The only dollar figures we show are face value and silver melt value, with the silver price and date they use. For what a coin sells for, we take you to real sold listings.
- When a date, mint mark or variety can't be read, the app asks for a close-up instead of guessing — and a re-check within 30 minutes is free.
- No weekly plan, and no free trial that turns into a yearly charge. 3 coins a day are free; Pro is $4.99/month or $29.99/year for unlimited coins, favorites, export and batch scanning, shown in full before you pay.
- No account needed. Your collection stays on your device. No ads, no tracking SDKs, and we never sell your data.
